Dr. Dinesh Agarwal
Dr. Agarwal is a post graduate specializing in Community Medicine, with over 40 years of experience in healthcare sector. Dinesh has been the key technical resource for Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW), GoI on issues related to Maternal Health, Family Planning, Adolescent Health, RTIs/STIs prevention and management, HIV/AIDS prevention including facilitating development of guidelines, protocols, program design, assessments and training material. He has designed and implemented the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) supported programmatic interventions at national level and in five UNFPA priority states. He is highly skilled in gender mainstreaming, capacity building, policy advocacy, monitoring and evaluation, health sector reforms and financing.
Dr. Rajeev Gera
Dr. Gera has over 18 years of experience in development sector providing technical and project management support to public health programs. As the Project Director of the RMNCH+A project, he works closely with governments to help policy development, strategic planning, monitoring of the implementation, innovate and identify good practices and build capacities at all levels for better implementation of the national RMNCH+A strategies in six states of India. He has been associated with many health programs including polio eradication and routine immunization in India and Nigeria. Before joining IPE Global, he has worked in leadership positions with many national and international organizations which include WHO, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, John Snow Inc. and Public Health Foundation of India.
Dr. Amit Bhanot
Dr. Bhanot has done his M.B.B.S. and M.S. and combines 18 years of experience with Palladium, Population Services International (PSI) and Government of India in strategic planning, marketing, financial oversight, risk and general management, across projects in South Asia and East Africa in a spectrum of practice areas (Governance, Economic Growth, MEL, PFM, Impact Investing). He has managed partnerships with international donors (BMGF, USAID, DFID, CIFF, GFATM), multinational corporations (Pfizer, Unilever, Eli Lilly, Merck), and governments (Indonesia, Kenya and across 12 states in India) to create Shared Value impact.
David has over 35 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, private sector development, challenge fund management, governance, policy and research. David brings strong monitoring and evaluation expertise to the Fund. David has designed, managed, implemented and evaluated a number of DFID challenge funds including the Governance & Transparency Fund and the Development Awareness Fund. He also works with the multi-donor Africa Enterprise Challenge Fund and the MasterCard Foundation Fund for Rural Prosperity and has been the independent monitor for the USAID Enterprise Challenge Fund. In addition, David has worked as an Advisor and has designed a number of other grant funds including: economic empowerment of the extreme poor in Bangladesh and the Common Fund for Commodities.
David holds an MBA from City University Business School, London and M.Sc. in Agricultural Economics from Oxford University.
